The salad provided a perfect contrast to the richness of the pasta, making for a satisfying meal.

Amazing food and service! Not what you expect at all for a strip mall restaurant. The menu is huge. I got the seafood lasagna and it did not disappoint. I'll definitely be back to try more soon!

I ate here more times than I want to admit while living in nearby Chesterfield, MO. I'm in Houston now surrounded by New Orleans/ Bayou/ Cajun restaurants and am still craving this place. The food and service were always stellar. I brought everyone who ever came out of town to visit us, here. I wish that they could ship the house made sweet-spicy sauce here...please consider making that available online for shipping. It goes on everything!

always a great meal, reasonable prices and always a drink special! Harry really knows how to do this upright. It's a seafood, gumbo, all around great restaurant. If you're interested in those types of great things, including fried clams, fish tacos, and crab, I highly recommend it !

I had a taste for some cajun seafood and decided to give Gulf Shores a try. It's a small restaurant in a strip mall but easy to find. As soon as I arrived, there wasn't anyone ahead of me, but there was a small wait. The hostess greeted me immediately and was so nice. That's was a table and bar seating that became open at the same time. I decided to sit at the bar. Service throughout was great. No complaints. I ordered the hurricane, which was flavorful and strong. It doesn't come to you till later. I wish I would've ordered the sangria, but I didn't see it on their wall until after i ordered. Next time for sure. I wanted a little of everything, so i went with the rajun cajun. I wish the red beans and rice had more flavor. It was a tad bland and had too many large tomato chunks. Otherwise, everything else on my plate was really good. Their dipping sauces were so good, too. I ordered dessert to go. The beignets were good, and it would be great if it came with a dipping sauce, too. The peach cobbler had just the right amount of spices as well. I'll come back to try a few other items I saw on the menu.

You know those places that you drive by ALL the time and you forget about? It's like neighborhood blindness or something. Good thing for Gulf Shores, they have been a St Louis staple for EVER. Bad thing about Gulf Shores, I totally forgot about them until a new restaurant in the area could not feed us, a second was closed permanently. GS was our 3rd shot and a fantastic winner. On to the food! I have had Gator in Florida, approximately a million years ago, ok, it was really 2012. But since it's been so long, I was IN. The Cajun Ranch, delightful, the batter, flavorful, the Gator, chewy, but I kind of think it's supposed to be like that. For dinner, I wanted to go a little lighter, all the salads sounded so good. I finally decided on the Calamari salad, fried, with Cajun Ranch. It was everything I needed it to be on a cold Saturday evening. My dining partner got a tuna entree that he really enjoyed, I will say, it was very pretty and I did have some food envy. But I really just couldn't eat an entree after snacking all day. The man approved and he lives nearby, I see more Gulf Shores in our future, which is good because I have so many things on the menu that I need to try!

The overall experience was delightful, and I particularly enjoyed the Lobster and Shrimp Alfredo , along with a refreshing Raspberry Vinaigrette Salad. Though I had been to this restaurant a couple years ago for a special occasion I had my eye on this dish for some time. The combo of seafood, pasta, and the cajun seasoning of the sauce made for a truly indulgent dish. It was evident that the chef had mastered the art of balancing flavors, resulting in a memorable culinary experience. The Raspberry Vinaigrette Salad was a refreshing accompaniment to the main course. The vibrant mix of fresh greens, tangy raspberries, and the zingy vinaigrette dressing created a harmonious blend of flavors. The salad was light, yet satisfying, providing a perfect contrast to the richness of the fettuccine. The portion sizes were generous and nicely disturbed lobster and shrimp throughout the pasta, contributed to the overall value. Though it might be considered a special occasion restaurant for some, the experience and flavors make it worthy occasional anytime.
